The restaurant serves traditional British food with a classical French influence. Kim has developed his own style of cuisine from his training and past employment. We use locally sourced, seasonal produce, and offer daily game specials. We prefer to deal directly with local farms and serve Elan Valley mutton, Brecon lamb, Gaer Farm pork and local Welsh Black Beef. Locally sourced seasonal produce gives us the opportunity not only to provide customers with the best quality food available, but also to inject money into the local economy, and address environmental concerns with lower food miles, less packaging, and animal welfare issues. Happy animals taste better! All food is made on the premises and is cooked fresh to order. Kim does much of the butchery himself, which means that we can offer traditional cuts of meat and dishes, and that very little of each beast is wasted. All sauces are made from fresh stock bases. Our dessert board offers a daily selection of delicious home made desserts. |
