Kim and Helen Pruett took over The Laughing Dog in December 2007, and have quickly gained a reputation for friendly hospitality and an excellent standard of cuisine.

Kim has over 20 years' experience as a professional chef and has worked as Head Chef in several establishments in South Wales, before deciding to use his experience and reputation to produce high quality food in his own restaurant. The front of house is run by Helen, a former teacher who speaks fluent French and German, and who is happy to answer any questions about the food and its provenance.
